Boxing Day crash claims life of 18-year-old man

An 18-year-old man who was one of eight people injured in a downtown collision on Boxing Day has died from his injuries.

Toronto Police responded to a collision at Richmond and Yonge Sts. at 2 p.m. on Dec. 26 when a Hyundai and Kia crashed. The investigation continues.

Eight pedestrians were struck and rushed to hospital when the Kia rolled on its side, hitting people on the sidewalk.

On Sunday, Toronto Police said one of those hit, an 18-year-old man, passed away from his injuries on Saturday.
