Overnight shootings Sunday keep Toronto Police busy

Toronto police responded to three separate shootings Sunday morning.

At 5:15 a.m., police were called to the area of Finch Ave., W. and Goldfinch Ct. after multiple gunshots were heard.

Police located shell casings in a wooded area and saw three suspects fleeing.

Officers in a foot pursuit manage to take two male suspects into custody and are still looking for a third.

A little over an hour later at 6:24 a.m., police were called to the area of Dundas St., E. and Bond St. for reports of gunshots.

Police say there was a group of three men and one fired into the air.

Shell casings were recovered and there are no reports of injuries.

At 7:10 a.m., police were made aware of a man that had made his way to a west-end hospital with gunshot wounds.

The injuries are not life-threatening and it is not clear where the shooting took place.

Police continue to investigate all three cases.
