Stretch of southbound DVP reopens after vehicle goes over median

A crash closed the southbound lanes of the Don Valley Parkway near Don Mills Rd. for about five hours on Friday morning.

Toronto Police say that a vehicle travelling northbound went over the median into the southbound lanes of the roadway around 6:20 a.m.

Three people were injured — two of the victims may have been ejected, police say.

Southbound traffic was diverted off the DVP at Eglinton Ave. while the northbound lanes remained open throughout the investigation and cleanup.

The closure was lifted around 11:30 a.m., police said.
