A Florida man allegedly punched a 16-year-old girl for cutting him off.
Hillsborough County police issued an arrest warrant for Stephen Irvin Saunders, of Tampa Bay, claiming the 47-year-old punched the teen with a “very youthful appearance” causing “redness, soreness and bruising to the left side of her jaw.”
The alleged incident happened on Dec. 16 when the unidentified girl “accidentally” cut off the suspect.
Saunders is accused of then following the victim to a light, getting out and screaming at her, according to the New York Daily News .
“What the f— are you doing?” he allegedly asked. “You stupid b—-. You cut me off.”
That’s when a punch was allegedly thrown through her rolled-down window, police said.
Saunders pleaded not guilty to a felony count of burglary of a conveyance with assault or battery, the Smoking Gun reported.
His attorney Kevin Napper told Business Observer, “We’ll let the court process play out, and there’s more to the story. You can quote me on that.”
