Cops hunt suspects in child abduction case

Toronto Police officers are looking for two male suspects who attempted to abduct a child.

Police say two men approached a missing child on Saturday at 8:55 p.m. at the John St. pedestrian bridge by Bremner Blvd.

The men told the child they would take him home, said police.

The child agreed to go with the men, but private security intervened after getting an alert from police.

The men walked away, and the boy was later returned home.

The first suspect is white, 5-foot-7, and between 30 and 35. He has an average build and was  wearing a black puffy vest, a sweater, black boots, and a black baseball cap.

The second man is white, 5-foot-8, and between 30 and 35. He has an average build and wearing a red-and-white lumberjack jacket and grey pants.
