Black Lexus SUV at centre of North York homicide probe

Investigators have honed in on a suspect vehicle in connection with a homicide investigation after a 24-year-old was fatally shot this past Saturday in North York.

Toronto Police on Tuesday night released an image of a black Lexus SUV that’s believed to be the suspect vehicle. It was seen leaving the scene aggressively in the area of 2625 Weston Rd. — near Hwy. 401 — at about 3:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Police on Monday identified the victim as Mathio Youkhanna, of Toronto.

The victim was located in a car, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was one of four fatal shootings on the weekend. Four others were also injured in separate incidents.
