Police allege Gary Prince, 29, showered before leaving home he’s accused of breaking into
He got away squeaky clean.
Toronto police need the public’s help in locating a man who helped himself to a shower inside the North York home during a burglary Saturday night.
Officers were dispatched to the home near Clancy Rd. and Van Horne Ave. — near Don Mills Rd. and Finch Ave. E. — for reports of a break-in.
The brazen burglar, who police say was armed with an axe, spent a number of hours inside the home stealing both money and jewelry.
Evidence left at the scene suggests the crook took a shower before taking off with his loot.
Police believe they may know the identity of the bathing bad guy.
Gary Prince, 29, of Toronto is wanted for breaking and entering, as well as mischief and theft charges.
The accused is described as black, about 5-foot-9, with a slim build, and dark, curly hair.
He was last seen wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket and pants, and tan/brown Blundstone boots.
