Teen charged, another sought in Christmas Eve shooting in Brampton

Peel Police charged an 18-year-old man for the attempted murder of a man in Brampton last Christmas Eve.

Cops responded to a call about a shooting from a home on Hubbell Rd., near Heritage Rd. and 5 Sideroad, at 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2020.

When officers arrived, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a trauma centre.

    Two teens charged with assault in Beaverton

Two suspects were involved in an altercation with the victim and fled the scene before police arrived, officials confirmed.

Investigators identified both suspects after executing “multiple search warrants.”

Eliazar Henry, 18, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with several offences including attempted murder, robbery, disguise with intent.

Investigators are searching for the second suspect, a 17-year-old male from Brampton, whose name cannot be released under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

He is also wanted for attempted murder, robbery and multiple firearms offences.
