Man shot to death in in North York plaza

The deadly shooting is the city’s 65th homicide of the year

A man was gunned down in a North York plaza early Saturday.

Toronto Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the plaza at Keele St. and Dovehouse Ave., just north of Sheppard Ave. W., around 1:45 a.m.

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.

It’s the city’s 65th homicide of the year and the 32nd by gun.
