Given previous COVID cancellations, the event is the first Fan Expo since August 2019 and will run at the Metro Convention Centre from Oct. 22 – 24.

Shatner, 90, and George Takei , 84, who played Sulu, will be representing Star Trek at the fan event; Shatner starred in the original TV series from 1966-69 and remains one of the best-known and loved characters from the show.

The Fan Expo press release says you can get a Shat autograph for $100, and a photo-op for $105, with prices subject to change.

The Fan Expo lineup this year includes Robbie Amell (The Flash) , James Masters (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) , and Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who).

More celebs and guests will be announced next week.

Organizers say there are limited tickets available for the weekend events, and attendees must show proof of vaccination and adhere to all safety protocols.

The Shat himself was blasted into space for real on Wednesday aboard a rocket ship built by Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin company. Bezos is a huge Star Trek fan.
