Murder charge laid in northwest Toronto stabbing

A Toronto man has been charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing late last month of a 26-year-old man.

Khalid Jama was found wounded in a John Garland Blvd. and Martin Grove Rd.-area courtyard shortly before midnight on Sept 29. The Etobicoke man died in hospital.

Salah Abukar, 26, is now charged and is to appear in court by video link Wednesday.

Toront Police did not release the circumstances of his arrest
