Man, woman seriously hurt in downtown T.O. shooting

Police are investigating after two people — a man and a woman — were shot in Chinatown on Sunday night.

Toronto Police responded to the area of Vanauley Walk and Napanee Crt., near Spadina Ave. and Dundas St. W. for reports of gunfire and found two gunshot victims who sustained injuries that “appear serious.”

Toronto Paramedic Services took both patients to hospital via emergency run.

The investigation is ongoing.

In an unrelated incident Sunday night, a man was stabbed in the area of Don Mills Rd. and St. Dennis Dr.

The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital by Toronto Paramedic Services.
