It was like a lottery bolt out of the blue for one lucky Bolton resident.

Eugene Fradsham, a 64-year-old grandfather, celebrated with strangers in a local convenience store after finding out he won $250,000 in the OLG’s Instant Hit It Big Game.

A regular lottery player who likes to try new games, Fradsham told OLG: “I played the ticket while I was in the store and thought I won $25 at first. Then I saw the extra zeros and realized I won a quarter of a million and my hands were shaking as I signed the ticket.”

Fradsham says all the adrenaline had his body vibrating.

Needless to say, those around him got pretty excited, too.

“Everyone in the store was giving me ‘COVID high fives’ from 10 feet away,” Fradsham told OLG.

“It’s still surreal. I had to pinch myself a few times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. My mind can’t get around $250,000!”

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

Fradsham says he plans to invest his big lottery win to prepare for retirement.

“I’ll treat myself to a new bicycle, which will help keep me fit into my retirement years,” he said.

His winning ticket was purchased at George’s Convenience on Highway 50 in Bolton.
