The vast majority of City of Toronto employees who disclosed their vaccination status are inoculated against COVID-19.
City officials say 23,730 of their employees profess to be fully vaccinated — or 88% of the 26,904 city workers who completed vaccination status disclosure forms.
A statement issued Monday said 1,135 city workers are only partially vaccinated, 1,006 were not vaccinated, and 783 declined to disclose their status.
The city currently has 30,940 employees.
City employees had until last Friday to disclose their vaccination status.
Starting this week, City of Toronto employees who aren’t fully vaccinated or fail to disclose will be required to complete a training program by the end of September, when first doses become mandatory.
All city workers are expected to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 30.
