Second suspect ID-ed in fatal beating of elderly Toronto man

A second suspect has been identified in the fatal beating of an elderly Toronto man.

Tyler George, 28, of Toronto, is wanted for manslaughter, in the brutal assault of 77-year-old John Manion, according to Toronto police.

Manion was beaten on Aug. 6. Emergency crews found him in critical condition and he was taken to hospital where he died just over three weeks later, on Aug. 29.

Investigators are also on the hunt for Arja Duffy, 41, of Toronto, also wanted for manslaughter in the death of Manion.

Both suspects are considered violent and dangerous. Police caution to call 911 if either suspects are located.

Manion is the city’s 53rd homicide victim this year.
