Toronto Police seek public’s help in identifying woman

Toronto Police need help to identify a woman whose body was found in Lake Ontario off  Etobicoke’s shoreline.

The body was found Aug. 10, 2017, near Humber Bay Shores Park.

Police say the woman is between 44 and 70 years of age, about 5-foot-5, and between 135 pounds and 150 pounds. She had greyish dark hair and brown eyes.

She also had healed mammoplasty scars that may be from cancer surgery.

An artist’s rendition of the woman has been created in hopes that someone can identify her.

“Hopefully it will help someone recognize her and bring some resolution to both her family and the investigation,” police said in a release.
