A seriously-injured man was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in North York.
Officers received reports that a man was stabbed in the abdomen in the Jane St.-Grandravine Dr. area, just south of Finch Ave., shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.
Paramedics arrived on scene and the victim was taken to a hospital.
The suspect is described as a bearded white man who wore a black hat and a mask.
HIT BY TRAIN
A man suffered life-altering injuries when he was hit by a freight train in Brampton Sunday.
Peel Regional Police reported he and another man were hit while hanging out on tracks at Church St. W. and Mill St. N., near the Brampton GO station.
Both men were taken to hospital, said police.
Man with knife arrested at Oakville GO station
A man faces charges after Halton Regional Police responded to a call about someone wielding a knife at the Oakville GO station.
Officers arrived and chased down a suspect, who boarded a nearby Oakville Transit bus.
The bus was evacuated and officers took a man into custody without injury, reported police.
Garrett Riddell-Watcheston, 34, faces numerous charges, including possession of a weapon, theft over $5,000 and obstruction of a police officer.
He’s being held pending a bail hearing.
