Police seek man accused of sex assault in Scarborough

Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an alleged sex assault in Scarborough on Sunday.

Police say it was reported that a woman was in the area of Rouge River Dr., north of Sheppard Ave. E. in the early morning hours on Sunday when she was approached by a man and sexually assaulted.

The man is described as brown with a dark complexion, 40 years old, about 6-foot-4, with a medium build, black wavy hair to his ears, balding, grey and white light stubble, small eyes, a large nose and large ears.

He was wearing a green hooded sweater with a white font on the front, dark jeans and brown sandals with two Velcro straps. He was wearing a very thin necklace made from white string and small orange beads that wrapped twice around his neck.
