Three people killed in Milton crash

Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Milton early Saturday.

Halton Regional Police say they received reports of a serious two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Fourth Line and Britannia Rd. around 12:30 a.m.

A southbound Cadillac sedan driven by a 28-year-old Milton man collided with an eastbound Mitsubishi SUV with three occupants.

Two of the Mitsubishi’s passengers died at the scene and the third died while being transported to hospital.

The ages and genders of the deceased persons are not being released until their next-of-kin have been notified.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.
