OLYMPIC ATHLETES SUPPLIED WITH CONDOMS BUT URGED TO SOCIAL DISTANCE

Is there a way to have socially distant sex?

Sexually charged-athletes competing at this year’s 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo are getting mixed messages after event organizers tell them to maintain social distancing rules while handing out 150,000 condoms at the same time, Reuters reported.

Condom distribution isn’t new at the Olympic games. It’s been a tradition since the 1988 Seoul Olympics where the birth control has been used to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS.

But since competitors can’t personally mingle with one another in the athlete’s village because of the pandemic enforced rules, the distribution of the condoms seems like a moot point.

Sex between athletes isn’t the only thing hampered by social distancing rules. Athletes are also asked to dine alone and wipe down any surfaces before eating.

“Without the proper measures in place, it will only take one person to bring in the virus and spread it, especially in places like the athlete village,” said infectious disease specialist Nobuhiko Okabe during a recent press conference.

BANNED U.S. OLYMPIAN SAYS BURRITO CAUSED POSITIVE STEROID TEST

There must have been something strong in that pork burrito.

That’s what ex-Olympian track athlete Shelby Houlihan is arguing as the likely cause of a positive steroid test that recently landed her a four-year ban from competition.

Houlihan took to Instagram last Monday to state she received a letter from the Athletics Integrity Unit on Jan. 14 informing her about the ban after they found the presence of a nandrolone metabolite, which violates the World Athletics anti-doping rules.

The American track star said she didn’t know what nandrolone was until she received the news of the positive test.

Houlihan said she has since learned that “eating pork can lead to a false positive for nandrolone since certain types of pigs produce high amounts.”

After making a log of what she ate before the drug testing, Houlihan believes the pork burrito she bought and ate 10 hours prior to testing was the likely cause.

In order to prove her innocence, Houlihan claimed she took a polygraph test and sent hair samples to toxicologists. Unfortunately, the Court of Arbitration for Sport didn’t accept her claims and the ban was upheld.

More than a dozen workers at a Pakistan-based burger joint were arrested last weekend after they refused to give free burgers to police officers.

According to the BBC, staff at a Johnny & Jugnu restaurant in Lahore were detained and held overnight for reportedly rejecting the request for free burgers by police officers a few days earlier.

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

“Upon rejecting their request for free burgers, which has become a common practice for them, the police officers threatened our managers and left, only to return the next day to further harass and pressurise our teams … with baseless arguments,” Johnny & Jugnu said in a statement.

The restaurant statement noted cops harassed and pushed staff and wouldn’t allow them to close the kitchen because they didn’t get their free grub.

Senior provincial police official Inam Ghani stated on Twitter that nine officers involved in the incident have been suspended.

PEOPLE WANT JEFF BEZOS TO BUY, EAT MONA LISA PAINTING

There are a lot of people who want one of the world’s richest men to take a bite out of an iconic painting.

Close to 500 people so far have signed a petition urging Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to purchase Leonardo da Vinci’s famed Mona Lisa painting and eat it, according to Fox News.

“Nobody has eaten the Mona Lisa and we feel Jeff Bezos needs to take a stand and make this happen,” reads a description on a Change.org petition that was created a year ago.

However, the likely joke petition gained steam this past week with several hundred new signees.

The Mona Lisa is currently on display at the Louvre museum in Paris, France. It’s owned by the French government.

Bezos likely isn’t focused on the da Vinci painting at the moment as he plans his space company Blue Origina’s first flight on July 20.
