A Hamilton woman has taken home $100,000 in an ENCORE win.

Cheryl Saunders matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the March 6 Lottario draw.

Saunders, who is an executive assistant, says she saw a lot of zeros while checking her ticket in a store.

We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

“I still didn’t realize how much I won,” she told OLG.

“I put the ticket back in my purse and decided to check it again at home. I checked the ticket with my husband using the OLG Lottery App and that’s when I realized there really was that many zeroes!”

Saunders has no plans for the money yet but sums up: “This win feels good and it’s a nice way to end the pandemic.”

The winning ticket was bought at Mac’s on Limeridge Road in Hamilton.
